We are pleased to announce that starting in April 2024, Microcosmos International Preschool will begin offering swimming lessons at the Tokyo Swimming Center to promote children’s physical strength and provide enhanced opportunities for exercise.
Until now, our school has focused on outdoor play and gymnastics to support children’s health and fitness. With the addition of swimming lessons, we aim to offer even more comprehensive opportunities for physical development. Swimming lessons will be held every Monday at 1:30 p.m., taught by instructors from the Tokyo Swimming Center. Children in our Bumblebee, Ladybug, and Butterfly classes (for children over 90 cm in height) will participate in these lessons, enjoying a safe and fun experience with support from their class teachers.
Tentative Schedule
- 1:00 p.m. Depart from preschool
- 1:15 p.m. Arrive at Tokyo Swimming Center
- 1:30 p.m. Swimming lesson begins
- 2:20 p.m. Lesson ends and children change clothes
- 2:40 p.m. Depart from Tokyo Swimming Center
- 2:50 p.m. Arrive back at preschool
