Microcosmos International Preschool is registered with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and Toshima Ward, meeting the “Guidelines for Non-licensed Daycare Facilities” set by the Japanese government. Therefore, it is an eligible facility under the “Free Early Childhood Education and Care” program, which began in October 2019.
Eligibility for Free Education and Care
- Age Range: Children aged 3 to 5 years
- Subsidy Amount: Fees up to 37,000 yen per month are covered
- Conditions: Families must receive a “Certification of Necessity for Childcare” from their local ward or city office
The “Certification of Necessity for Childcare” requires specific conditions, such as employment, maternity leave, illness, caregiving, or parental leave. For detailed information, please contact your local ward or city office.
