On a sunny day in November, we held our Sports Day!
We all began with warm-up exercises, then started with the events for the 2-year-old and 3-year-old classes.
Some children were excited on the wide grassy field, while others felt a bit sad to be separated from their parents, but each child enjoyed the activities in their own way. The 2- and 3-year-olds performed a parachute activity, and during the parent–child events, they enjoyed the Car Wash Race using the cars they had colored together.
The 4- and 5-year-old classes had a new version of the traditional bean-bag toss!
Using old socks that families had brought in as “beanbags,” the children tried to toss them into the large pants worn by the teacher. They also played tag with tail ribbons and performed a dance with pom-poms.
Finally, everyone joined in for hula-hoop races, relays, and tug-of-war.
With laughter, a few frustrated tears, and each child giving their very best, our Sports Day became a wonderful event where we could see how much the children have grown.
