Our school’s oldest kindergarten class had a sleepover!
This class is called the “Butterfly Class.”
Before the sleepover, we gathered butterfly drawings made by everyone and created original T-shirts.
Using a printmaking technique called silk screen, each child hand-printed their own T-shirt. The shirts turned out wonderful, and everyone was very happy.

The middle kindergarten children also joined until dinner, enjoying a BBQ and making pizzas for their meal.
Afterwards, the oldest kindergarten children walked to a nearby public bathhouse to take a bath.

After they returned, the teachers performed a shadow play of “The Three Little Pigs.”
Some children were staying away from their parents for the first time, but everyone had a lot of fun and slept soundly.

After waking up, they ate breakfast and then went home.
Some children who were anxious before participating ended up having a great time, and the sleepover became an experience that really strengthened their friendships.
