One day in August, our school took a group of 22 children on a 4-day, 3-night “English Summer Camp” trip to Shikine Island.
We gathered late at night and boarded the ferry called “Sarubia Maru.” After spending the night on the ship, we arrived at Shikine Island in the morning!

After arriving at the guesthouse where we stayed, we had breakfast and then headed straight to the beach for a swim.
The crystal-clear sea was perfect, and everyone enjoyed playing to their heart’s content!
After that, we did a craft activity in the guesthouse garden using seashells, sea glass, and leaves we found around. We preserved our memories on UV paper.
Later, we visited the open-air hot springs along the coast and the shoreline, where we spent a relaxing and peaceful time.

On the second day, we started again with a swim in the sea, followed by a BBQ.
Enjoying a variety of foods together while overlooking the beautiful beach was a truly special moment.
After eating, the group split into two: some went to a nearby store to have ice cream, while others returned to the open-air hot springs to relax.
In the evening, we enjoyed handheld fireworks, making it a memorable day for everyone.

On the final day, we enjoyed our last moments to the fullest by putting together memories of the camp in sketchbooks and exploring the guesthouse.
During the long journey back by ship, we spent our time walking on the deck, joining various activities, and watching movies. Thankfully, we returned home safely.
This camp was an unforgettable experience, allowing the children to connect with nature—something hard to do in Tokyo—and to share special moments away from their parents with friends and teachers.
We are always welcoming visitors and trial lessons!
There are openings in various classes, so feel free to contact us by phone or through our inquiry form.
